The New York Staff Band welcomes you to register for Future All-Stars Weekend, February 20-22, 2026. Future All-Stars is intended for Salvationist musicians aged 13 to 21 and will consist of expert musical instruction by members of the New York Staff Band, as well as times of Bible study, spiritual renewal and great fellowship. We are looking for special young Salvationists who understand and desire excellence in their musical and spiritual lives. This event is for brass players and percussionists with great promise who can be considered “Future All Stars”. There will be no formal auditions for 2026. Instead, participation will be determined as follows:
- Students who attended Star Lake Musicamp in 2025 and were part of either the Star Lake Band, Hilltop Band, or Appalachian Band will be automatically accepted into Future All-Stars.
- For students who did not attend Star Lake or who were not members of one of these groups, participation will be determined on a case-by-case basis between the New York Staff Band leadership team and the respective Divisional Music Director.
The application process is now open and will remain open until December 1.
If accepted into Future All Stars, you will need to arrive at the Star Lake Lodge and Conference Center no later than 1:00pm on Friday, February 20. The results from the auditions will be posted at www.nysb.org by December 16. If accepted this year, your division will be billed for the $100 registration fee. If you are from outside of the USA Eastern Territory, you will need to pay this upon your arrival at Star Lake.
The Finale Concert will be held at the Montclair Citadel Corps (13 Trinity Pl. Montclair, NJ) on Sunday, February 22 at 2:30 PM.
