The NYSB collaborates with tuba virtuoso Patrick Sheridan for a thrilling recording. Sheridan contributes five scintillating tracks, including Norbury’s new work “Badinage” featuring themes from Condon’s much-loved “Celestial Morn,” a dizzying display of technique and sound in the Arban classic “Variations on a Tyrolean Song,” a mesmerizing performance of Ellerby’s “Tuba Concerto,” an exhilarating sprint through Goedicke’s “Concert Etude” and a brilliant dash through the old favorite “Grandfather’s Clock” – at euphonium pitch!
